A Reddit user recounted how his newly purchased Xbox Series S console saved his life in a cycling accident. The incident happened while he was cycling with the console in his backpack. At an intersection where visibility was limited by bushes, a truck suddenly appeared and hit the user.
The Reddit user said he was able to grab the bumper of the truck, but the driver did not see him and he was hit by the vehicle. His backpack prevented him from hitting the ground first. The impact shattered the backpack and severely damaged the console and controller inside.
