itch.io, the open gaming market, was closed by Funko. Itch.io sharing the problem from the official X (Twitter) account is as follows; “some bogus phishing report to our registrar iwantmyname.”
I kid you not, @itchio has been taken down by @OriginalFunko because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called @BrandShieldltd that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, @iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

Also, for transparency, we *did* take the disputed page down as soon as we got the notice because it’s not worth fighting stuff like that. Regardless, our registrar’s automated system likely kicked to disable the domain since no one read our confirmation of removal.

If the outage exceeds 8 hours, a new domain will be purchased
itch.io x ( Twitter ) in a reply via the social media platform said that the Servers are still there. But the website is still offline and hopefully the engineers there will get things back in place.
The fact that such a large platform suffered such an interruption in this way worried users.
itch.io site is not yet accessible. Stating that they are working on the situation, itch.io is likely to change the domain.
Such cheap but effective phishing revealed the weakness of the security infrastructure.
itch.io will devote time to security vulnerability in the next processes.
