Reddit announced a productive artificial intelligence search tool called Reddit Answers. Using this feature, Reddit users will be able to find relevant information on the platform more efficiently, eliminating the need to enter Reddit details in Google searches. The company describes Reddit Answers as a way to provide ‘a new way to get the information, suggestions, discussions, and hot takes people are looking for – on any topic – from real conversations and communities across Reddit.’
The tool includes a large box where users can type in their questions. Within a few seconds, users will be provided with relevant answers taken from Reddit. Each answer links to the original Reddit post with an arrow icon at the end, and when clicked, opens the source in a sidebar.
Reddit Answers allows users to ask questions in plain language and get summaries of relevant conversations and details from Reddit’s vast community-driven ecosystem. Answers also include links to related posts and communities on Reddit.
